Kritsana Udomsrirat was an ordinary, dutiful Chinese Buddhist wife living in Thailand. She was not your typical candidate for missionary service. Then one night her husband was murdered right in front of her and their three young sons. As her husband lay in her arms dying of a gunshot wound to the head, she promised him she would seek vengeance on his killers. But on the road to revenge Kritsana came into contact with missionaries in northern Thailand who shared the gospel with her. She eventually accepted Christ and was able to let go of the desire to avenge her husband’s murder. By the time Kritsana finished her studies, God had laid on her heart the women and children of Thailand as her mission field. So she returned to Thailand and started Asian Women’s and Children’s Ministry, through which she has ministered to people in ways she never could have imagined. She has cared for orphans, educated children, and helped rescue young women who had been forced into prostitution. She has been back in Thailand for about 10 years.
